Crazy life

I promise I haven't forgot about blogging, I just can't seem to find enough time in my day to sit down and write. I'm sure if I did it would probably relieve some stress I have building up, but time is against me. I have so much to blog about but it'll have to wait until this weekend. Lily had her 9 month dr. appointment and has hit so many milestones. So I promise I'll catch up this weekend.

Smart kid

I am officially the smartest person in the world. So I'm sitting here studying for my test and I decide that it's getting late and probably should go ahead and pump. I've been putting if off long enough so I got up got all the bottles and attachments ready to go and begin to look for my pump. I look and look and look, no pump. Search my whole house, my car, everything, still no pump. Panic sets in along with really uncomfortable boobs. The last place I had it was at school when I pumped at 2. My school is in a hospital which is good, but the classroom is locked, I should know because I was the last to leave so I pulled the door shut. So Casey took me up there to search the building over and find someone with keys. Luckily there was someone outside smoking and he let us in. We found a housekeeper and she said that she had seen it in the classroom. Thank god it was there!!! This is definately a mistake I'll never make again. So now I'm back home studying and pumping. Wish me luck on my test tomorrow, I need it!

Just like her Mommy

So Emilee woke up one day after her 3rd birthday and decided to develop an attitude. At first it was just little things like saying "no" but saying it ugly, then it was not listening when we asked her to do something. Now it has turned into just plain hatefulness. She mainly does it to Casey, but she find something that she knows will make you sad and do it on purpose. I'm not sure where this child came from but I'm kinda missin my 2 yr. old. She's not always like that but lately evil Em has been coming out more and more. This week we decided to really start cracking down on bad behaivor. I'd much rather deal with it as a toddler than as a teenager.

And I'm still not getting school. Hopefully one day I will, until then I'll have to stick with guessing.

It's the little things

Yes I'm completely aware that I just did a post however...... I just saw the preview for Grey's Anatomy and I'm so excited. Even though I don't get to watch tv at all anymore there will always be time to watch my Grey's. Just thought I'd let you in on the exciting things in my life.

It's been a while....

I know, I know it's been too long since I last wrote but my plate is completely full lately. This whole school thing is taking up so much of my time, and I'm still struggling. Well enough about me...

Emilee started back to mother's day out at the beginning of the month. She's back to going twice a week and I think she's really enjoying it. She's started understanding what it means to have friends. Now we have friends and we have best friends. It's so funny. I swear she comes up with the funniest things some times. I hate that I can't remember them like I always think I will.

After Emilee's birthday she all of the sudden hit the terrible three's. Well she's not terrible but she definately more testy. She's been saying no alot more and it's not the fact of her saying "no" it's the attitude behind it. If she has this much attitude at three what in the world is she going to be like at 15?!!

Lily is growing up so fast. It's hard to believe that next week she'll be 9 months. This past month she's started doing so much more. She's up on on fours and rocking back and forth. I don't think it'll be too much long until she takes that first crawl. She's also getting her first two teeth. Poor baby, instead of just going through the pain of one tooth she's getting two. She's also fighting off a cold which has led to a nasty cough all on top of teething. She's my poor little sick baby the past few days.

She's eating everything that you put in front of her. I've started trying to feed her more and more people food. I still give her baby food but I want her to get use to having something to chew on. That is one mistake I think I made with Emilee.

Well that's all the updates I can think of at the moment. I am going to try and make an effort to update this website once a week atleast. It takes all of 5 minutes and I just need to do it.

Here are a few pictures that I took the other day of the girls.

Up on all fours!!!

See my teeth!

Our week and the Dr. visit

Well I'm officially a full time student now and it's so much more overwhelming than I had ever imagined. Three out of the five that I'm taking are eight week courses so they move faster than the others. All five involve tons of reading and memorizing. I'm beginning to think I've gotten in to far over my head.

Jackson came down to visit on Wednesday and I think he and Em had a good time playing. It's amazing the difference in play between a boy and a girl. I can definately tell I'm use to little girls. Boys are much rougher and active. But they were both pretty good thought the visit.

Yesterday Casey took Em to the Doctor for her 3 yr. old check up. Well ever since Emilee turned 3 she developed some what of an attitude. Yes, she's always had an attitude but now she's much more voiced. So the Doctor visit didn't go very well, she didn't want to do any of the things the doctor asked her to do (which is very imbarrassing). The doctor asked Emilee to bend over and touch her toes so she could check her spine, she didn't want to at all but ended up giving in. While she was bent over I guess she decided she didn't want to do that any more and jumped up. Well when she did that the Doctors face happened to be right near Emilee's head. To make a very imbarrassing story short, Emilee broke the Doctors nose. I feel so terrible for that doctor and I pray to God my child doesn't get sick because we're not going to go back there.

Well that's our week in a nut shell. Right now I'm hoping Lily will give in and fall asleep so I can study for a little bit. Wishful thinking I know.

Em's birthday weekend

So I'm a little late on posting birthday pictures from Emilee's parties. But I thought better late than never. Em's birthday was Friday August 8th, we really didn't do anything crazy. My mom and sister came down and we opened some presents and mom bought her a cake because she wasn't going to have one at her party (we did dirt pudding).
I know it wasn't Lily's birthday but I couldn't resist this picture.

So the next day we had Em's birthday party with all of her friends. I think for the most part it turned out really well. Emilee had alot of fun. She got tons of new toys. This is probably the first birthday that I asked for toys. Em wasn't much of a toy baby and even up until recently she just wasn't interested.

On Sunday Em left with Marme and Aunt Becky to spend the week in DFW. I missed her like crazy but she had so much fun. Marme took her to Six Flags, a bounce house and to ride on a train. She also had one more party. She keeps asking when her birthday is.
